About Us Landry Boat works is a family owned and operated boat yard that has been serving boaters for over 50 years. The business, which began as a repair yard, started building boats in 1958. The "Gulf Shrimper" is a well-known design that was created by Landry Boat Works. There were 165 of them built over the years. The last remaining hull was used to create a custom yatch in 1999. Landry Boat Works has returned to its roots as a repair yard. We are a full service boat yard that specializes in haul-outs, hull repair, and restorations on all types of wood boats.
